Graceanne is one of those rare souls who know exactly what they want to be when they grow up. She actually chose her college based on her desire to be a market research analyst! She received her B.S. degree in Consumer Research from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and continued her education through the Furman/Clemson M.B. A. program. Actively involved in consumer and market research since 1976, she found her happy place at MarketSearch in 1986. Dubbed our office nomad, she telecommuted from faraway places like Lake Havasu, AZ and Eugene, OR until we assured her that our Famously Hot humidity would keep her skin looking beautiful and convinced her to come back to Columbia.
Before we were fortunate enough to snag her at MarketSearch, she served as VP of Research for a packaged goods manufacturer/marketer for a major Southeastern ad agency. Her responsibilities included tracking market and industry trends, developing and testing new consumer products and concepts, tracking consumer awareness and attitudes on a national basis, and monitoring and analyzing syndicated data. In the hundreds of projects she has been involved with at MarketSearch, Graceanne brings to project design and analysis a clear understanding of what makes information understandable, relevant, and, most importantly, useable. She oversees the design and analysis of all MarketSearch projects and finds nothing more enjoyable than analyzing your data from front to back 54 different ways (really….we’re not kidding).
In addition to being the mother of stunning twin daughters, Graceanne tirelessly volunteers with EmmanuWheel Ramp Build, enjoys perfecting her golf game, and carves incredibly charming Santa figures out of random chunks of wood.
