While a student at USC, Melinda answered a newspaper ad looking for part-time survey interviewers. Without knowing she was to embark on her lifetime career, she came to work for Frank at the tender age of 19. Her first assignment was to interview men at the mall about their beer-drinking habits. It didn’t take her long to get hooked on the exciting world of market research! She considers answering that ad one of the most fortuitous events in her life. Since her studies centered on biology rather than market research, she learned the industry on the job from the bottom up. Melinda has been involved in all aspects of the organization from interviewing, to data entry to managing the field work end of the business, to keeping the books. Her attention to detail, organizational skills and relentless ability to gently nag ensures the office runs smoothly as she oversees project management and accounting operations.
Melinda is a graduate of Leadership Columbia, a member of the Columbia Rotary Club and an active member of her church.
She and her husband are the proud parents of two fine young men. The family has an insatiable appetite for live music, fine food and cocktails and with a recent move, the daily enjoyment of Lake Murray life.
